As a longtime Battlefield 4 player with over 11,000 hours of gameplay (and still playing it every week), I believe we need a game that truly captures the essence of BF4. This includes its air and land physics, TOW and TV missiles on the main attack helicopter, TOW missiles on the IFV, and everything else that made BF4 great.

I pre-ordered the Battlefield 2042 Ultimate Edition, played the alpha/beta test, and after the final release, I barely played it for 40 hours—it felt like a complete waste of money.

I really hope the next Battlefield game brings back the BF4 experience and makes it worth the investment. (If you cant do it, just remaster bf4) 😁✌🏻

Who should make battlefield in that case? I have no clue, maybe no one. This isn't really a battlefield specific thing, it goes for all studios. I think we should have high expectations for it, but I don't think that a studio should solely rely on that for motivation. Games that have a whole lot of passion behind them tend to be recognized in a much more positive manner. For example, games like GTA, Doom, Ultrakill, Lethal company are all super successful and you can see the passion put into them. Games like call of duty are much less positively received, and are just yearly slop. Battlefield labs looks like a genuine effort to pull the community in and create a passionate battlefield that we all can enjoy, so I'd be more than happy for the new umbrella studio to produce if that's the case.

First of all, I want to note that from the first video from Alpha gameplay I noticed that all objects that have physics have the same weight. when the building fell and the whole floor fell and the debris bounced up unrealistically. Every Gothic model in the game should have its own weight and based on the weight it should be broken into smaller pieces. Here it seems to me as if every fragment had the same weight and size. you need to choose sizes from grains of sand to large stones to panels on the building. and each will have its own weight based on the properties of the object whether it is a rock, stone or a building block that has, for example, denser concrete that is heavier and the like. if you need advice, I am the best person in the field of gameplay quality and ideas for better games.
