I recently (as of yesterday morning) started having issues with BF1. Game would fail to launch, and I would get EA Anticheat errors. I tried trouble shorting by doing everything short of a fresh windows instal, but no luck.

I’m on windows 11, and the game was working fine just last week. I bought the game through steam.

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything (game, steam, ea app, all ea anticheat software) but no luck.

BF Heroes was ahead of its time. It wasn't a game for me compared to the regular BF games, but it was basically a very Fortnite'ish game released 8 years before Epic copied the PUBG concept (which was copied from Player unknown) for Fortnite.

It's not like it was hard for Epic to copy the idea, as they were already helping the pubg team with optimizing the game so they already had their hands in there.

And no, it was not a 1:1 copy, far from it. Which is probably why it worked so well.

Also, they would not have been able to make a 1:1 copy so quickly, so they utilized what they had already built with a more cartoony style, faster gameplay and build mechanics. It worked out, but I'm not convinced it wasn't just luck
