I think it’s a good thing that Xbox games are coming to PlayStation. I’m not a fan of exclusivity. This way more gamers get to experience games they wouldn’t have otherwise and player base gets boosted for certain games. I’m super happy age of empires a franchise I love is making its way to PlayStation it’ll surely boost the numbers. I also want Halo to be on PlayStation. We need more players playing Halo. Infinite while the player numbers are somewhat healthy especially in the States it desperately needs more players.

For Microsoft it’s obviously a way to make more money. The appeal of Xbox is that you can play these games without having to buy them, you only need to subscribe to gamepass. Microsoft will unify the Xbox and Microsoft store on pc I think when the next console launches.

An Xbox will be a more affordable way for people to play next gen games without them having to shell out a lot of money on a high end pc.
