Is hip fire really that good? I was using the mp7 (idk what it's called in bf6 I'm using og COD terminology) with a hand stop so I can hip fire while sprinting... The only time I could actually kill somebody was if they weren't looking at me first and also if I was almost point blank

Depends heavily on the weapon.

Some of the SMGs are hipfire lasers. Ideally you want the short barrel, 20 point green laser, and a flashlight at minimum.

Anything else on top is just added spice.

The space where I have lots of fun with hipfire mp7 is rounding corners and using movement in small spaces. Your ttk is worse so you gotta take advantage of battlefield players refusing to turn so you can land your extra shots.

I do think they need to touch up spread for some weapons a bit. Specifically, the slower firing more accurate weapons don’t have enough of a benefit in accuracy at range it feels like.

The spread changes made faster firing weapons “good enough” at most relevant ranges.

I had ONE full game last night and it froze during matchmaking. And 6 other times.

based on the traits of the freeze I think it's a Javelin anticheat issue. Apparently the game pulled a 200MB update on launch yesterday and that might have been a Javelin bug.

cause if it was the game itself i'd expect a crash code, or an event log, or something. But the freeze on my machine is only fixable with a power cycle. Nothing responds, it behaves very much like a Linux kernel panic.

No BSOD, no errors, nothing. Just instant hard lock. Like the CPU just turns off.
