I’ve found a pretty good build for the M277. I can beam someone up to 60 meters away (that’s my limit until I get better). My only issue is the 20 round mag +1 in the chamber.. I can kill up to 5 enemies with 1 mag. But on average I miss atleast 1 to 2 shots on average. So the rounds go pretty quickly. But always worth it especially if you have time for a tac reload.

Faster capture time and the adrenaline injector. Allows me to run faster and I’m more resistant to damage when it’s active. The redeploy helps me get squad mates to the front lines faster and also assault class is slightly better at taking fall damage. Frontliner path also works wonders so I can do better when I’m putting in the work on Obj. And the ladder helps me flank easier and get to better spots to give ranged support with my DMR. I just see it as a necessity to be able to take obj as effectively and efficiently as possible.

as someone who plays recon a lot I use proximity sensors to single out gunfights by using the information to see who I should fight first asap as they approach me

c-4 also helps in these situations as you use the information to set up a c-4 and detonate it when they pass according to radar

It also depends on your gun/range I think if you have a beast mode SGX/m4/DRS and have space to reload/reset then you can sometimes do 2/3 v 1 but it's veryyy risky

oh yeah I think I roughly agree with you except maybe the 417 A2 which in my view can be a very good yeet canon if you level it high enough and get the right specs

the main issue with the 417A2 is its competing with the nvo which is very similar and features less visual recoil (even if the nvo has more spread you can control it).

The NVO also has access to the light barrel

If I were to buff the M417A2 I would:
give it synthetics and give it heavy extended barrel

you need legit 1 headshot with the m417A2 with synthetic to extend its 3 shot range from 9.5 meters to 21 meters which would give it a very unique place in the sandbox.

Only gun that can do that rn is the rpkm at the moment. I think the m417A2 deserves it considering it has 20 rounds (which when compared to other guns with low mag sizes its a bit of the odd one out)
