given the gun's recoil it might not be possible, but i want to build the tr7 so that I can have good hipfire to aim at the head in cqc with hollow points, and have a suppressor + some recoil control to make it manageable to full auto out to 30ish meters. definitely gotta start bursting from beyond that. bipod might be an exception to this I havent tried it, although I dont normally mount when i play. since i use lasers i dont mind keeping the ads speed the default

I have completed every single weapon, unit, and class challenge in the game through sheer pain before the update launched. My k/d tanked because of this.

I could have had a score per minute between 700-800+ if I didn't pursue said challenges. I am also currently attempting to max all guns to 50 except sniper (cuz I am not touching them out of moral principle until the range finder attachment is removed from the game)

In a game with spread, ADS is misleading. Games with spread should have a crosshair, preferably circular (since that's how your weapon's cone of fire actually works), and the ability to zoom your view. ADS should only be for games withotu spread, since your bullets will actually go where your sight points (barring the gun's inherent MOA).

Fyi I've completed every single unit, class, and weapon challenge in the game before the update except getting 4 squad wipes in one game of squad death match.

they reduced this to 2 squad wipes and I got this relatively quickly today.

I think you can handle a minor struggle in comparison to the pain I dealt with.

10k score in a single game of king of the hill and 4 squad wipes in a single game of squad death match are by far the hardest challenges in the game before the update.

I don't think I have ever enjoyed the BR genre since I find it to be a repackaging of the more refined and sweaty arena shooter genre in terms of how you manage weapons and map lay out.

BR's emphasize more randomness in regards to weapons while arena shooters have fixed spawns of power weapons players have to compete for while managing objectives to win games.

I do think my biggest issue is I suck immense ass at handling large environments I can't memorize. I generally like memorizing map layouts to understand the dynamics and positions of value on a map always. In a BR you largely have to passively learn this on scale and do things on the fly.

I get the appeal. It's just not my thing tbh

tbh I can go both ways. i dislike the sweet spot as a mechanic, but as it stands any way to make sniper more difficult/skillful i would support anyways. i beleive battlebit remastered had something remniscient of the sweetspot where your sniper would do more damage as it travels, eventually going over 100. in this game it just feels like i get punished extra hard by occasionally getting 1 tap from being in a snipers sweetspot when without it im taking 80 dmg instead

making the maps bigger would take little to no redesign. And I just got off playing Firestorm in BF4, and the map was and felt way larger than the one in BF6. I was long range sniping 100s of meters away. Sometimes half way in the map all the way against the snipers in their HQ spawn

Mirak is pretty good. I think they should stretch it out more horizontally, and also make the tall grass on the one side of the map be more important to the playable area. It almost reminds me of Panzerstorm.

Ive seen that. I think in BF6. Some of the maps like you said, Cairo and Iberian Offensive are fine size wise, so for those, it seems more like how they draw the borders, where they place the HQ, the lanes, and the objects, all together make them feel much more tiny or smaller than they already are

I think they're good maps tbh. In fact I think cairo, iberian, and manhattan are pretty iconic for what they are.

More so cairo and manhattan.

I wouldn't change much about them when other maps are the clear outlier. You can't have larger scale warfare with vehicles and snipers that break under the reality of the scale of those maps

The NATO side I think it is on Iberian Offensive sucks. Their side always loses, and easily is spawn trapped. The tanks only get two ways out. The other side at least gets a much more open starter flag for their tank to move in

The bridge map is the most disappointing one. They put the word BRIDGE in the name, but you can't fight on the bridge, you cant even fly helicopters high enough to go over the bridge so they always get shot down by rpgs. Meanwhile in BFV, its bridge map is much larger and playable everywhere, with the bridge collapsing, creating a new point. They could add a new point on top of the bridge above C, then when it falls down, it crushes C and fuses into one giant capture point. Why not.

I actually don't mind the lack of the bridge.

I think manhattan having 3 goated points is amazing. C, D, and B each have awesome dynamics.

B gives access to rooftops and high ground chute angles with tons of zips to do so. D has multiple zips to access the entire point's higher positions and even a central zip to go across the upper center of the point. C is the central tug of war position.

Manhattan to me is a map that the more you learn about it the better it feels.
The other two points of A and E give plenty of space for tanks to do their thing along side C. It straight up feels like that one scene in transformers 2007 where devastator (actually supposed to be called brawl) is rolling through the city lol.
