Secure Boot has been around since Windows 8, but nobody made a push for it until windows 11 came out, meaning it was VERY common for a retail motherboard from 2020 to not have it on by default.

only branded PCs had Secure Boot back then (by default)

The problem with those mobos from 5+ years ago is that they had CSM enabled default back then, because it was the "most compatible" option and could boot in any mode. But CSM on, forces Secure Boot off.

And the Windows 10 installer will happily install itself with Legacy boot options. if the setup boots in legacy mode, and it will not even give you a hint about it.

I found the NVO with the accuracy grip+compensator is goated

The compensator makes its recoil pattern ideal for tap firing long distance and it goes directly up making control super easy at cqc

the accuracy grip makes you not have to worry about bloom nearly as much and you can burst/long hold in some mid to longer ranges

m4a1 I barely used. It's definetly the overall best gun of the beta but imo the NVO (Ace) and the kts100 (ultimax) if you got their playstyles were kinda nutty

the kts100 with the headshot attachment could do 50 damage per headshot for the first like 20 ish meters? Maybe a bit more I forget.

personally i found the open weapons to be kinda annoying and took away from the overall class identity in some ways. wasn't alot of recons using snipers... Most of the ones i ran into were medics using snipers. And most recons were running assault rifles and playing more akin to a forward spawn for their team...

engineer was doing engineer things most of the time... Because most of them played inside vehicles XD and Assault... Well... they kinda just did a bit of everything which was crazy as they often swapped between snipers and shotguns or assault weapons... even saw a few running double LMG

I think the maps I’ve seen cover most styles. Personally I don’t like small maps. I’m to slow for CQB now. But understand ppl like CQB. I’m a mid range player. Not good enough to sniper. Not fast enough to CQB. But there is a place for me.

there were plenty of areas that allowed for a full field of view, as a sniper i love it but it didn't feel right. the last map they added felt better but since they are about to relese BF6 it doesn't make much of a difference

something where you just have vehicles located at the firing range. you jump in and fly/drive. and if it crashes, another spawns immediately

it doesnt need any enemies. so no bots, with like a plain map. with no objects. I dont think that is anywhere close to being a match

Enemies are not a problem in loading a match lol. If it’s a fixed map with vehicles, it has to load them

The memeory of the objects (polys of models) needs to be loaded

Unless you want it to constantly be side loaded in the main menu

Can you make your own map, and close it to practice flying etc. no bots like BF3 i recall. We had our own clan server.

And BF4 had the best solution. It spawned you on an island with every special weapon, vehicle and unlimited ammo. And a house that could be destroyed to showcase the destruction properties of each weapon, it would then respawn when destroyed
