Agreed. Played a few hours and that was enough. BF6 looks like BF3 but it plays like COD. Once you get over the new game hype you realize the maps are small and boring, and the experience of repeatedly running into a meat grinder gets old real fast. There’s no room for strategy or finding creative ways of playing. I hate to say it, but BF2042 is far more Battlefield than BF6.

I still dont fully understand why I have an issue with bf6. there's something that makes it feel weird compared to battlefield 4.
Other than the fact that aircraft health is far too low, the AA ammo is stupid (It should be 200-400 rounds with 3-4 reloads before rearming instead of 12 bullets and inifnite reloads) and the infinite recon C4.
Possibly its just due to the maps being rubbish? We should've really had 1 or 2 really nice large maps to play in the beta cause all of these are far too small, its like playing team death match, not conquest.

For real, the maps are already fairly small but even then only like 50% of that is playable anyway, so many buildings that you just cant do anything with, destruction goes from 0 to 100 and then doesnt even ACTUALLY CHANGE the surroundings, you dont create any new travel paths or fight areas, just a few more rat holes.

The game just forces everyone down the same few paths, thats why you see people moving from flag to flag in groups of 20 like ive never seen before

Every time I do it, it says 3 files failed to validate, then I can get back in. I'm on Steam though. It looks like if you don't repair, it says I don't have early access. This last attempt didn't seem to work though, I'm installing it through EA launcher rn again to see if that fixes it....
