BF labs are the external playtests, as far as I know. Theyll continue and expand as time goes on

Extraction shooters don’t make sense for BF as a game mode because the whole point of ES is to progress via the extraction and extraction only. If you only progress in ES mode for ES mode… there’s no point for ES.

I miss the Grand Operation game mode from BFV, 3 consecutive games linked together. Imagine that with for example Siege of Shanghai from BF4 :
1st step : Breakthrough from enemy spawn, to the central building.
2nd step : Rush in the area outside and inside of the building
3rd step :
if attack team wins the building collapse - attack team continue to push def team to their spawn with evolved map.
if attack team lost -> reverse breakthrough : the def team becomes attack team and push back to initial spawn.

i think by itself it's an interesting mechanic but it doesn't suit battlefield. The point of gun customisation is to find a setup that works for the situations you'll find yourself in, balancing the tradeoffs. If you can change attachments on the fly then that defeats the purpose

Unironically I believe the hovercraft scaling skyscrapers should've stayed. It gave options to taking the rooftop objectives beyond flying or taking an elevator

It also made for some cool engagements

TBH, im all for a drone system thats has limited ammo, but is reliant on friendly markers/painting.

For example...the drone has always on thermals, and gets no friend or foe markers. You will just see everyone as glowing outlines, so you need to be shown where the enemy is through other means.
