@jolly hedge engaging in good faith here dude. Game dev is broken, the larger the game the more parts that break and the vision for the game goes all over the place.

I was told by one how everything is pretty just given the strongest of rubber bands and duct tape for full release.

A lot of hacks and cheats go into game dev to make things work.

Pre release builds they have to make sure they specifically work for the public they're releasing it to.

Making sure it doesn't break as much but using that user data to collect as much information as possible to understand behaviour, breakages and shit.

Only thing I expect for you is to understand.

He also mentions that the name of the game will be revealed in the playtest and of course, everyone is asked to keep it a secret

It is also mentioned that the only thing that the testers can share (if any) is their overall experience, without revealing any specifics of what they tested. This last part doesn't seem reliable as I am sure you are not supposed to even tell you got an invite?
