Hi, when I try to load up WuWa with both the RenoDX HDR mod and the Reno FPS Limiter, it just crashes at game startup.
When just loading them individually I have no issues whatsoever. Is that an issue with the FPS Limiter in general?
Its sadly the only FPS Limiter that actually works for me to eliminate Gsync flickering, so it would be sad to not use it, even tho alternatives exist.

i'd like to dive deeper into it, but my current addon is in a total WIP state so wouldn't really reflect your experience. what are the names of both addons in your folder at the moment?

Both the latest downloads (wuwa from in here and the fps limiter from the github).
try loading them both with the fps limiter renamed to _renodx-fpslimiter.addon64 as an experiment to make it load second

Why does setting the UI brightness value lower than max brightness cause flickering?
No undervolt, no OC, nothing like that and the game still crashes.

as weird as it sounds the only way i managed to "fix this" mind you this was happening daily for me with no framegen, every single time I went to the Iuno/Augusta nightmare nest, was to change de FPS limiter in the WuWa settings from 120 to 60

Hi,the flickering issue was fixed by using the DLSS fix, but DLSS fix seems conflict with frame generation, causing the game to crash when switching to the menu or other UI.

That would be amazing. I've never had any luck with getting the two add-ons to play well together 
that could be it, but then again, it didn't happen in 3.1 or 3.0, doesn't crash in any other game and the gpu is just default settings, i did a run today at 1080p to see if it would crash and it didnt , it was fine a 120 fps the whole way.. so no clue

Most of my crashes were during cutscenes for example.
Either the start of the cutscene or the end of the cutscene.

The game's gone through a UI overhaul goddamn. Everything from the load bar, to the Welkin collection to everything else looks different.
Since the UI elements are "different", I hope DLSSFix doesn't cause crashes anymore.

i tried removing optiscaler and reshade completely, tried installing reshade again and tried running game again, same thing happens, the moment i put it to sdr and restart game, it just goes black screen

all it does is maxes the brightness and slightly saturates, that's it
and i usually get time to play in night when its dark, so i dont want that max brightness blinding me

i also turn down my hdr peak nits at night, basically making it just enough to see at night
in fact id say because of this u can achieve overall lower brightness than sdr monitors

uhm if I didn't saw wrong ingame menu setting there isn't the native hdr switcher to put on right? for RenoDX at the moment I moved the peak brightenes at 1020 for video aswel ( choosed profile 2 because in profile 1 was only 1018 and the next was out of my current hdr setting ) and preset I choosed vanilla+ look good. At the moment gived a try to move the kuro bloom slide but I didn't saw any effect

i've tried to make it as flexible as possible because i've accounted at least for adjusting to patches, and it's actually the scene shaders that matter because those are where i get all of my resources from

Has anyone ever had a bug with lip syncing not working? Currently doing the 2.8 quest, and only this quest does not have lip syincing. Pretty jarring in cutscenes.

all i know about this is that the game does something weird with animations where it's easy for flipbook'd animations to get out of sync and do weird things

Its bizarre. Expressions work, characters blink, get angry, etc, but the mouths don't move. ONLY on 2.8 quest, too, other quests work. They broke something, very likely.

The Linux crashes are from ray tracing. If you turn it off, the game runs fine. I'm not sure if Reno would be able to fix that or not

Smooth Motion is Nvidia version of Lossless Scaling where it isn't hooking the game and just duplicating your image. So it doesn't interact with Reno at all.

oh are random performance tanks not fixed
in 3.0 i'd randomly dip into like the 10-20fps range for seemingly no reason in parts of the map
it was the fucking shader compilation on my end
it runs fine now
the game is very unstable with reno tho
if you disable reno/reshade the game runs faster without stuttering
the performance difference used to be very small, not sure what happened
I've also noticed lower performance with reno than before
although it's pretty small

Maybe winos eye adaptation is still causing issues

Anybody stuttering in Wuwa? I went from laggy waves to stuttery waves after I got pc upgrade from RTX3080, R7 5800x, to Rtx5080, 9950x3d (wuwa is on 1 CCD (cache)) .... It seems like shader stutter but those stutters keep happening in same locations... I think some of the stutters might be because of framegen too... Stutters got substantially worse since 3.2 patch
Clear shaders, not much else you can do.

The bigger more involved cast alongside more cutscenes of actual involving cast really helps.
Hi all, sorry if this has has been asked before, I'm trying to install renodx for wuwa (3.3) and I seem to be getting frame reprojection in game, and blackscreen login/menu not appearing. Is this something related to renoDX or should i look elsewhere. (hmm might be related to just reshade)

its not tearing i can confirm that, its as i explained, 2 frames constantly being presented out of order, (it even continues to do it when alt tabbed, replayes the frame before and frame of pausing) (maybe a bad install of reshade)

to explain, to screen record the issue i am seeing always i must pause, which is the alternating frames you are seeing, when it cuts thats after alt tabbing back into the game, where it seems in the recording not to have the issue, but still does to for me. (also menu pauses and cannot see menu, black screen on login) (Confirmed that renodx hdr works fine, and reshade is loaded)
recording with a phone might actually help in these cases

but i am seeing reports that wuwa became stutterfest since 3.2, which seems to corelate with my experience camellya ....and i dont think its just because of shaders

if u reset everytime u launch game game needs to stutter for it to compile the shader it needs when u enter a region where it doesn't have the shader to support it

i think i sometimes even get stutter when some UI pop up shows, like the one where it says that your bike speed is limited because you are in startorch, also when i jump and dash with character it usually stutters and it keeps happening almost every time

the only stutter i get is shader compilation or when FG fucked up(with dlssfix) when opening UI and didn't crash game, which needs manual restart
rarely i get stutter where it actually hangs for 2secs, but that one is probably shader compilation, but those small stutters are just 0,2sec long and they also keep happening during dialogue in main story quest cutscenes...i have 120+-fps, and it just sometimes does microstutter for no reason...ill show you my video i recorded today

it's optimization, with everything on min, i get 500fps and 0.1% still goes low
my cpu and gpu under 20% still stutters...
Actually, using lossless scaling is better in wuwa. no delays and stutters from opening and closing menus, smoother max refresh rate during menus/events, and no crashes with renodx when opening and closing the radial menu

I really don't like these motion interpolation techniques tho
and the stutters are longer/worse if you use FG or Smooth Motion
There is a lot more artifacting with LS and Smooth Motion too so...
it is indeed, it also seems to have moments where it feels like it is leaking to the ram, even though i have spare vram and enabled prefer no sysmem fallback. weird, gonna try smooth motion
