but there was an oversight in the custom reshade
kinda bottlenecked you by your disk read speed in a way lol

Nope, but you could always switch tone map type to vanilla and turn on autohdr and compare it yourself

Hello there, im from the nexus comments, i tried the new .dll but im still stuck at a low framerate. Averaging 35-40 on 1440p and 29-30 at 4K on a 6800XT / 5600X and i have no clue how to fix it

At 4k i usually get about 60-70 fps
With reshade it seems to be around 29/30

I managed to get solid 60FPS 1440p on BOTW 1.6.0 and TOTK 1.4.2 w/ these: https://discord.com/channels/1294443224030511104/1503758617709510810 (less frame spikes but not flat like citron) + latest custom ReShade + HDR addon + NX 3.2.0 (frame caps 120) + 4K Textures (have to set DRAM 12GB if higher res)

Just installed Renodx for Cemu did everything i had to do but the sliders dont do anything. I have the latest version of Cemu (1.26.2f) and reshade.

Loaded reshade with pointers from Ishidaw's video and cemu dies with this output. Did you do anything else to it?
I found I need PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1 otherwise it crashes as soon as I try to launch the actual game from Cemu. So I dont use game scope

No I did not, I just set it to full screen when I double click to run it on the Cemu setting sdropdown
I couldn't find Lilium's HDR, but it was much better after I cleared the cache and restarted the game, although the colors still seem to have some issues.
Letting it open in fullscreen is a decent solution

I have a 9070XT, so our cards are similar enough to where that shouldn't be a problem. Here's an outline my setup to see if it helps. I'm using Heroic, but I imagine Steam shouldn't be an issue.
- Add Ryujinx as a game (using the latest version 1.3.3)
- Set proton version to GE-Latest (10-34). All the Proton 11 based versions have crashed for me.
- Install reshade using Ritsu's custom ReShade installer from this post > #1454963368870809786 message . You can use proton tricks to make sure it uses the correct prefix.
- Install the vulkan runtime to the prefix using the official installer. The latest version requires you copy and rename some dlls in the prefix for it to work (icuuc86 -> icuuc)
- Set a dll override to vulkan-1=n

I imagine LeShade could simplify the vulkan runtime step, but it throws an error for me whenever I try to use it.
So far, Breath of the Wild on Ryujinx and Tears of the Kingdom are the only one's that won't launch at all for me, regardless of whether ReShade / RenoDX are active.
Im having a tough time installing the Vulkan runtime to the prefix. What method to you use? I downloaded the runtime from the vulkan website but when I try to run it on the exe nothing happens
Yeah, the newer runtimes require a dll that Proton names differently from windows
If you go into the windows folder in your prefix, open a terminal there and use the following command:
cp system32/icuuc68.dll system32/icuuc.dll && cp syswow64/icuuc68.dll syswow64/icuuc.dll
Then run the exe

Let me apologize, we probably should have moved this convesation elsewhere. Your mod isn't the issue, it's the actual emulator under Proton
And it seems like setting the DRAM to 8GB fixes the issue

The vram is used by Vulkan, dram setting is the emulated game's own memory
I ran my BoTW with all the bells and whistles with RenoDX form the get go with no issues at 80-100FPS so, I suspect they're just activating the same mods.

My Oled is mainly a streaming device at this point, but I still get some gaming usage out of it.
I can also confirm the DRAM setting is what allows Mario Kart and Astral Chain to launch. Totk is still a no go.
Mostly dissapointed a year later when the Retroid Pocket and Ayn devices hit, let alone that it was weaker than my last two phones that didn't cost a whole lot more. Granted Windows on Android emulation and all.

that fixed the error but the performance hit is still there. also im not sure if this is unusual or related to the issue but when launching with the renodx addon the "loading cached vulkan pipelines..." takes way longer than usual like 5mins everytime
are you using the devkit? it should only be longer with that

every link seems dodgy
so you would need to add the exe manually via drag and drop and have the game titled as Ryubing but what i could probably do is when you click on install renodx button have it come up with a list of available games then you would choose the game you wanted and it would install that mod
i'll download a couple of the mods and rip my games to see what the best way to do it owuld be

BoTW is the only unique one, it's CEMU or Ryubing.

i've been working on it a bit and i can actually get each game listed in RHI individually
then in RHI you can click the launch button on that game and it'll swap the correct renodx file in for it with a reshade.ini per game then launch directly into the game
my testing hit a dead end when the github links werent working heh
