Each game under steam has .acf manifest file
You have to set that file to read only
that'll be the actual fixed mod
problem is people are gonna see its dimmer on average than vanilla and call it trash so I'll keep the shit ass one as the main file

RT fucks with injecting cbuffers meaning I have to hijack the in game sliders rather than adding my own

The only thing I really miss from DL1 in DLTB is the atmospheric music. PaweĆ BĆaszczak absolutely nailed that vintage late-â70s to early 80s psychedelic Goblin, John Carpenter synth-rock soundtrack vibe. The soundtracks from Olivier Deriviere for DL2 and DLTB sound a bit too "modern" at times (even tough there are some gems in the whole, PaweĆâs soundtracks for Dead Island, Dead Island: Riptide and Dying Light evoke that vintage atmosphere and sequencer-style of the classics)

When using the Neutral Version in concert with Restored SDR Exposure, I get HDR peak brightness (in highlights etc.) but only BT.709 colors. No DCI-P3 nor BT.2020 colors.
Is this supposed to be so or is it because I am using the other mods (Disable Global Illumination Desaturation, RT and Shader Tweaks and RTX Enhanced) ?

and take the ReShade64.dll and rename it as dxgi.dll and place it there
neutral is much better, default was basically just a compromise cause I needed to figure out how to fix exposure
now that I have that fixed I should probably just make neutral the only version
their autoexposure code in hdr makes outdoors way brighter and washed out so they just cranked up saturation and contrast by slapping on ACES tonemapper
in SDR their autoexposure is too strong and dims highlights too much, I ended up forcing their SDR code and adjusting the way autoexposure is applied so it doesn't dim highlight as much
depending on the display, the "Normal" version is still fine due to the enhanced color space
Itâs just an arbitrary increase to saturation
The mindset that hdr means you have to jack up contrast and saturation so you can show off your expensive tv is one of the biggest issues with hdr games
I donât even like the way the regular version of the mod looks

Greetings. Iâm having an issue with the RenoDx menu â it doesnât appear, even though the add-ons tab has the checkbox selected. Ray tracing is turned on, but my TV only supports SDR. The menu showed up without any problems in Silksong. Any thoughts on what might be causing the issue?
What files should I use if I have an Sdr TV? I see you have several of them and you can combine them somehow . Can I have more detailed instructions, please?

I figured the addon would help me with a little banding, even though it doesn't seem to be much. It's just that if you take an example from the addon for Silskong, it transforms the picture, not much, but it definitely works better with it. I wish there were similar settings for Dying Light The Beast đ

You can try that since it helps to solve the atrocious banding
Most of that is only in hdr branches

Iâm not sure which one did the trick, but when I added the Restored SDR Exposure to the proper folder, the main menu displayed a message saying the game had been modified, and so on. Overall, I liked the visual resultâ the light haze was gone. So, this thing actually worked for me! Itâs great that at least this experimental mod seems to be functioning đ Am I right in thinking that the experimental mod doesnât impact ray tracing?

the restored sdr exposure is supposed to make hdr look more like sdr
shouldn't affect anything in sdr
the render target upgrades reduce banding but has a much more limited affect in sdr since some of the stuff I edited is specific to hdr
they don't conflict with each other
they modify different files

I can now explain what the issue is with distant trees
Not occluded in shadow
or lacking screenspaced shadows
but whats strange is the other distant tree have shadowing, its just the ones near the mountain where the sun is dont recieve shadowing
So Reno mod unreal spoils the shading of trees in Days Gone?

đ I just started this game yesterday. The lighting of the sun in this video is like RTX HDR with blown out whites looking yellow. The calibration menu scene of the afternoon sun 
For the HDR Min. Luminance I set it to 0.5 as the recommended to be 200. Is there a more accurate number to get get it close to 203 like the default sliders in reno.
I tried this one but it seems like the night or any dark area is really hard to see. The lighting felt like DL2 when you had Gritty colorspace on. The night was so hard to see. Do you have any other recommendations of mods out there that would remove the nasty green/yellow tint. I tried the Disable Global Illumination Desaturation mod but with RTGI it felt exactly the same. I am not sure if the mod was meant for prior GI before RT.

Did a âclean installâ for the new NVIDA driver yesterday through NVIDIA app and it broke reshade on this game. Updating and reinstalling reshade didnât work so I uninstalled the game, cleared all the files out, did a fresh driver install with DDU, reinstalled the game and itâs good. Iâm a bit new to Reshade and RenoDX, is this a common issue with new NVIDIA drivers?

As a looting game, one of the biggest pet peeve of mine is how much time you waste opening empty containers lol.
1 mod I always install is no more empty containers. It just removes the interaction with anything that's empty

Now I need to figure out which options I am going to have to turn down... The game is constantly using 9.8GB/10GB VRAM since the new 1.6 update. I might have to turn off ray tracing 
RT Shader tweaks works still. The Alt version never worked for me prior to this update. I just used the main one.
This mod also improves ray tracing.
A "boiling" noisy effect is quite noticeable in some instances when I use DLSS Performance, and becomes a little less noticeable if I switch to balanced. However, with this mod, the boiling effect is now even less noticeable in performance as it was in balanced for me before.
The delay in changes in lighting when you switch on or off your flashlight is also greatly reduced with this mod.

Probably follow the instructions that the mod gives
preference/viewing environment
I play in a dark room and set it to the lowest setting
but most people probably won't like that

Actual i have 1 from Nexus Modm but it didnt show the extra tap and think its broken.

Things i do: Rename the Reshade dlls for compatiblity. Try older Versions with and without shaders and co. Nothing help
dont install renodx with mod manager. jsut grab the correct addon file and put it next to the game exe and the reshade installation. consider using the target upgrades optional file but like musa said it can break easily in the future with updates

It has no sliders. Read the pinned post in this thread, it also includes instructions for how to set the in game sliders

the min luminance slider is the new brightness slider
