dorados are in summer in the cindersap forest river(and its only during summer when they show up) id say they're the most difficult fish to obtain in the river during summer, octopus i think mostly every casual player has trouble with since it only shows up in the ocean at 6am-1pm, my best recommendation to get an octopus is to just use a trap blobber with a food that gives a fishing buff

octopus is also a honorary legendary fish imo because its around legend/crimson fish difficulty level (its not as hard as glacierfish is though, dont worry)
