What I did for spring y2 (because I wasn't aware of the strawberry's wonders in y1) is turn a dedicated field's strawberries (I have two fields, one for profit and the other for seeds for this specific matter) into seeds using the seed maker so I can immediately plant it in the first day of spring

Yes you're gonna wanna get foraging lvl10 because if you decide to do pigs for their truffles, you can have iridium truffles with a chance to double. Every pig can spawn 1+ truffles per day, depending on friendship. Iridium truffles are 1250g each and I just got 25 of them in one day so damn

Oh btw if you want animals go for pigs. Cows for the succulent cheese you could use for energy. But you're gonna need a large capital for this

Oh actually upgrade your axe to preferably iron. You can cut down the big trunks and stumps in your farm for hardwood. If you're on the forest farm, there will always be 8 stumps there everyday on the left of your farm and they give 2 hardwood each so 16 hardwood per day
