as you level up, your fishing bar increases, you can buy tackle and bait, etc

i typically get the training rod and use it to get to level 2 to get the fiberglass rod. that's on day 2. i try to have the iridium rod by day 4 at the latest

Yeah, if you go hard on fishing you can get level 10 the fastest of all professions I think. Great for early money and I usually get my ancient seed from fishing chests
