cows produce daily, though you will want a goat eventually its best to just have cow first

• the mines are incredibly useful! they may not seem it, but getting to the bottom is crucial whenever you can. you'll need the resources throughout your journey
• im happy to help, you can shoot me a message
• if you have the resources to craft a few preserve jars, go ahead! use your most valuable crops on them. any processed crop is better than not processing, but there will be another machine you unlock later that blows them out of the water
• a coop is good to have, but my biggest tip is to not clear most grass on your farm until you build a silo, so you have hay stacked up

And on my first save, I got FIVE prismatic shards before even properly getting to skull caverns. This save's luck? An ancient seed from literally the very first bug I killed
