Im already after seb, im planning to make other save files for other spouses (sam, Hayley, alex[as a dude], Leah and maybe Penny) but seb is gonna be my main world, and knowing myself ion think imma get to that many saves

doing it that way would require the least amount of scripting changes to everybody's schedule, i think. That "different history" would just be a bunch of if condition script checks for alternate dialogue, i think, its at least a technically realistic base game change (if not necessarily desired)

forest - lots of respawnable hardwood and does foragables
hilltop - has a massive quarry on it
riverlands - decent for fishing
4 corners - has a small quarry, decent farm land, and one respawnable stump for hard wood
beach - has the most buildable space
meadowlands - you start with two chickens and a chicken coop
wilderness - basically another standard (at one point was the only farm layout that monsters would spawn on at night from the very start of the game)

1. profit margin. make less money when you sell
2. number of starting cabins
3. monsters spawn on farm
4. remixed bundles
5. remixed mine rewards (most chests will give you something different except the slingshot, master slingshot, stardrop, and skull key chests)

those are the main options to mess with in there that are properly meaningful for casual runs

they've all got their perks and quirks. beach isn't great for mass farming styles, but if you adapt accordingly, it can be fun and interesting working with so much space. forest means you'll never run out of hardwood. riverland gives the goated fish smoker at the start
