Unlocking the recipe takes a while but then you need to make enough ||lightning rods|| to actually make a fence. When I was first starting I was using ||tea saplings|| every other block and would slowly replace the fences with ||lightning rods|| then replace the other stuff with lightning rods when I was more mid-game

as well as check the journal to see what quests - talking to the NPCs give you more insight as to what gifts they like, and can unlock useful crafting recipes, they can also send u stuff in the mail

in order to level up your tools, you need ores to craft bars (other than money) - and you get them from the mines, which unlock on day 5

always upgrade your pickaxe first as an upgraded pickaxe takes fewer hits to break the ore nodes, which makes it easier to upgrade other tools

spending money to make money is necessary, in spring i'd say it's good to start with potatoes for some quick cash, then buy strawberries on the 13th, but also plant a cauliflower, a green bean, and a parsnip (and more if u can afford), as they are community center requirements

How to get the Prismatic Jelly

In order to find a prismatic slime, you must search for one in the mines to kill in order to obtain prismatic jelly. The most recommended method would be to use the elevator between floors 0 & 5 (or any other preferred floor, 5 is just easiest) to reset the mines until it spawns. It's recommended to go on a good luck day, since the spawn rate for a prismatic slime is affected by daily luck.

For multiplayer: The mines will only reset if ALL players are outside of the mines or on floor 0. Only one person needs to deliver the jelly to the wizard, for everyone to receive all the rewards.
