Pelican town is clearly a dying town without its main source of income and is doomed to fail in the modern world. Perhaps by doing the community center you’re not fighting back against capitalism but dooming it to fall and only prolonging its slow decline

From a pure numbers standpoint, joja mart is probably the best option for pelican town

By just being there they say their economy is booming just from the farm, and the company is evil and treats their workers poorly

If you have cows or goats, you’re gonna wanna buy a milk pail from Marnie. It takes a few days before they’re old enough to milk. Cows can be milked every day. Goats seem to be every other day from what I can tell. If you’re on PC, it’s the opposite side of the mouse from petting to trigger milking

for watering can upgrades my ideal is either on rainy days or if you already have sprinklers (ideally at least quality sprinklers) unlocked

since crops don't grow if they're not watered and it may delay the expected return of your crops

prolly not a big deal if it's fast growers like carrots or potatoes, but it can be a really big deal for slow growers like strawberries or pumpkins

though of course you can upgrade your tools whenever you want

Long term it doesn’t matter, the mushroom cave does have the advantage of being able to be fully decorated with out effecting spawns though, if you decorate the bat cave it lowers the spawns
