The range and knockbac is also massive

I've been thinking about that too recently as I started a new file few days ago trying to do it way faster overall in comparison to my first file.

I think right at the beginning of the game to early mid game the Quarry is really handy but it comes less useful if you get deeper into the mines, unlock Skull Cavern etc. So if u notice yourself not visiting the Quarry all too often, just go for it.

Place right to the mines with the cut off bridge in the beginning which u unlock via community center bundles (or the right way, the Joja way. )

Thats really smart. I am at the point that I come bomb it once a week with three mega bombs. Thats about it. I just hit Level 100 in the skull caverns and am working towards sustainable supplies of Spicy eel and Bombs to keep going.

Would you say I should go ahead and bite the bullet or wait till I have sustainability with the skull cavern runs?

In my previous attempts I planted a few things and spoke to people, maybe a bit of fishing, but I didn't really know what to do other than that.
