Yes, but

They sell for higher price if you choose the professions that increase their sell price (at Level 5 and 10 Fishing) You can save fish until then or sell them now if not interested

They also sell for more if you smoke them but the Fish Smoker recipe is 10,000g so it may require some saving (it pays for itself quickly though!)

Some fish are needed for the Community Center, so look into that when you unlock the Fish Tank bundles. If you have no clue what that means, you'll find out eventually or you can ask and we'll tell you :)
