I normally only use the seed maker for ancient fruits. Otherwise first year I just sell all harvests until I can make kegs/preserve jars

It doesn't, afaik the seed amount you get is random. Like, for ancient fruit: sometimes I'll get 3 seeds from 1 fruit, sometimes I'll get 1 ancient fruit seed and 3 mixed seeds.

Back up Saves folder for any emergency
Go to folder with name of your host character (if name is Papa, then it will be Papa_123456 or something alike)
Inside of it open corresponding file (named Papa_454646 or similar)
Open it with some good text editor (i have used notepad++)
Open find window and search for string like <name>Mom</name> where Mom - name of problem character
Open find window again and find next <userID> (will be something like <userID>194930061271345123</userID>)
Delete <userID>194930061271345123</userID>
Launch steam
Save and close file
Launch game - problem gone. (At least at this time)

Food with luck buffs, lucky days and bombs help as well because the former two improve your chance of those minerals and the latter makes it easier to find staircases in the mines themselves

How to get the Prismatic Jelly

In order to find a prismatic slime, you must search for one in the mines to kill in order to obtain prismatic jelly. The most recommended method would be to use the elevator between floors 0 & 5 (or any other preferred floor, 5 is just easiest) to reset the mines until it spawns. It's recommended to go on a good luck day, since the spawn rate for a prismatic slime is affected by daily luck.

For multiplayer: The mines will only reset if ALL players are outside of the mines or on floor 0. Only one person needs to deliver the jelly to the wizard, for everyone to receive all the rewards.
