Game is very much play at your own pace/discover things in your own time. However I have some beginner tips here-

Tree farm- can be on farm but i prefer train station or ||quarry||. Plant around 10-20 oaks, 5 maple and 1 pine. Tap these. Then plant any type of tree in remaining area. Placing paths between trees is a great idea to stop dropped seeds from growing. Also when you get the resources mushroom logs between trees for extra profit.
Fishing- best early money maker, investing in iridium fishing rod is a great idea. Best places to fish per season- spring: if raining, the river, otherwise mountain lake, summer: lake before 6pm, ocean after, fall: if raining, river, otherwise ocean iirc, winter: ocean (plus submarine at the night market)
Animals- worth the expense and time, best are pigs and sheep followed by rabbits
Crops- best to process as many crops as possible, generally kegs are best for fruits and jars for veges, but if you only have jars/dehydrators its still better than selling raw, dehydrators are good for all leftover crops, best crops per season: spring- cauliflower and potato, summer- melons and blueberries (plus starfruit later), fall- pumpkins and cranberries
Tools- upgrade pic and axe first, then its up to you on what you need based on your activities

Fastest way early on is fishing. Invest in a good rod for sure. Then invest the money from fishing into more "long term" things. I like animals as my primary income, as im lazy and find pigs easy. But crops are good to, but focus on building resources to process the crops (jars or kegs)

Not really, profit is similar every season, especially if you get plenty of rainy days in spring/fall for the catfish. However, flounder is an easy catch with good profit

Its also knowing where to fish for season/weather

i'm a chronic restarter so i get the urge to restart to fix mistakes - my initial suggestion was continue and try to stick it through - but if it is really making you bored, then no harm in restarting to try to prevent this, and if you want to you can look up a year 1 community center completion guide

because if you don't complete vault bundle by winter you will only get more bored, realistically, you won't even get to do much planting then (bc well, winter) - depends on if you have greenhouse or not

Stardew is a sandbox game. There is a general line of progression, but as long as you're having fun playing, you're winning. Trees require one tile of space in every direction in order to grow. Normal trees can share a tile, but fruit saplings cannot.
Once fully grown, you are able to place anything next to them. Only non-sapling trees can have paths placed nearby while growing.

fisher/angler stacks with artisan - the 40% boost in artisan prices that unlocks at level 10 farming

so smoke them (tho obv not all fish is worth smoking haha
