depends on what kinds of mods! some that add a lot of content, best to start a new save file for them, but smaller mods like recolours or qol stuff can be added in Y2
u can add mods in ur original game, it's not "hacking" or sth haha sdv has a thriving modding community

depends on the mod, most mods yes (retextures, new items, quality of life, etc) but those that require complete overhauls of the map/npcs/etc usually prefer a fresh save because some files might get corrupted

technically you can put the mod after y2+, but not a guarantee it'll work flawlessly (for big mods)

Since rods do not protect a specific area, the exact placement of a rod on the farm has no bearing on its chance to intercept a lightning strike. A Lightning Rod has a very good chance of intercepting a lightning bolt if it isn't already processing one.

that's just how it is, u can eat forageables like leeks to replenish energy, or spring onions, or parsnips/carrots you've grown, or fish that you've fished up (chubs, smallmouthbass)
salmonberry season 15th to 18th, great option for early game energy too

if you level up overnight (you'll see the notification at the bottom left corner of your screen saying u have some new ideas to sleep on), your energy will also be replenished the next day

• quartz for bombs
