There is a modding channel here, but just in case you haven't peered at it, I'd say Stardew Valley Expanded and Ridgeside are musts for adding characters and hours of more gameplay. Triples the size of the game. Would also suggest looking into Clear Glasses to smooth out visuals which will cut down on load times.

As for the profession challenge, I have listed 10 professions to spin for. Farmer, Fisher, Miner, Adventurer, Forager, Rancher, Chef, Orchardist, Archaeologist and Artisan. For the Rancher, I included the artisan goods for animal products like mayonaise, cheese, etc. just to widen the variety of goods to sell. The goal is to earnat least 100K using only the products for each profession. Once the 100K is reached, I spin to another profession and try my best to reach Perfection while also exploring different money-making schemes.

Parsnips give a lot of farming exp so they’re worth it for that alone, early game farming exp is crucial. Then also you will need to keep 5 gold quality parsnips

||you don’t technically need the 5 gold parnsips, but it makes things a LOT easier. there are a select few other gold crops you can use, but parsnips are super easy.
and you don’t need one of EVERY spring crop, just green bean, potato, cauliflower and parsnip iirc.||

Oh kale is great too, actually I think it has the highest exp yield. I just think parsnips are better because of cc and sell value (plus it’s a liked gift for a lot of people)
