Question. I "only" have level 7 foraging, it's like summer 16th y1. I was wanting too have all 5 skills max before fall.

Farming will be maxed via blueberries. Mining is basically maxed already, so it'll get maxed whenever I get skull cavern unlocked. That leaves combat and foraging.

Is using 500 fiber too craft 100 tree fertilizer good for foraging exp? Or nah? 🤔

FYI for anyone that might see this in future: I went into the Stardew save files in the appdata folder and just deleted the farm name and SaveGameInfo files that weren’t the .old ones. I then disabled Steam Cloud Save and the game had rolled back a day (as the .old files have the save data for the previous day). I then played my final day of Winter again and bought all the stone I wanted, and after saving into Spring 1 Year 2 I left the game and re-enabled Steam Cloud Save, and chose the local copy. Now I am back to where I was but with all my new stone : D

Im nkt sure as balancing a card game is different than a videogame.

Maybe make it so can only do so many floors in a day. Or something.

Problem is increasing energy needed will feel like a cheap way to make it balance. Lowering the amount everything sells for also feels cheap. But those are like the only two real ways you can go about it.

And saying only 5 floors or even 10 just feels like an arbitrary limit.

There is no good solution. Just the one you choose

to start you draw a card
if its a rock you can just mine it with the pick for 1 energy (or more for some rocks)
if its a monster and u dont have a weapon you just need to end the run
if you do you just lose energy
the problem is to make the rocks actually sell for enough to make the player happy + make it fair compared to fishing

• When you get on a new floor, prioritize using your pickaxe on 1-hit stones if they are nearby
