I never really found your daily luck influencing much.

Every day, your luck factors affect how mines work. Every time you kill a monster, there's a chance you spawn ladders; Every time you kill a monster there is a 15% if the applies, to spawn a ladder, and daily luck affects the odds to increase chance to find a ladder upon breaking a rock

However every day, every floor has 1 fixed ladder position, if you want to increase the speed and reach the bottom fast in the early game, you need to get the copper upgrade for your pick

from there, prioritize using any bombs you get through the path, cherry bombs first, then regular bombs, then mega bombs

Always prioritize using the bombs near big groups of stone

And the best part, you always will keep getting better at it as you learn

Bombs, food buffs, spicy eel ||can trade ruby for them at the desert trader, one ruby = one spicy eel|| for speed and luck, (check tv for daily luck and go on a good luck or very good luck day) to help find ||holes and ladders easier and quicker. galaxy sword, to obtain go in the middle of the three pillars in the desert and hold a prismatic shard|| is great if you have a prismatic shard, also spicy eel + coffee cause speed stacks, stairs, use Crystalariums to duplicate jades to ||trade with desert trader on Sundays for staircases, one jade equals one stair case||, Salads are also a cheap healing food and are always available at the saloon, cheese is also great for healing

Yes, absolutely, if you don't need the materials right now for other things you can always use the bombs

you don't really need to use many, also recognizing what type of floor you're stepping on is a big facor

factor* spiral floors are the most time consuming but they are just a few, those benefit the most from bombs/killing monsters

since you menthioned you're in floor 90, there's good news: those are easier than all the previous you went through already

Since you're in floor 90 you probably don't have much option for foods that give buff

the good news is you don't need those, skipping floors fast is easy in regular mines even in bad luck days

just make sure you have 2-5 salads

If you for some reason lack of gold you can always fish some largemouth bass/bullheads/chubs in the mountain river

what works best for me: start the day heading to the mines, don't do anything else. Stay there and pass out to 2 am. If you think you won't make it but still have time, prioritize reaching floors that end with an even number, since those unlock an elevator level and hence, save your progress

floors that end with 5 or 0

so 95, 100, 110, 115, 120

lastly, the last set of floors (110-120) are the deepest, but generally smaller, like the floors 20s, those aren't really problematic. Only problem you have ahead is floor 99, since it's a spiral floor

• Forage around town, there are some nice items for you to find.
• Plant and water your parsnips, clear a small area for them. Potatoes are great for money, so are Strawberries from Egg fest on spring 13th.
• Use your scythe to cut fiber (NOT THE GRASS), it can drop mixed seeds for you to plant.
• You will get a fishing rod on day 2, fishing is great for money early on

Try mining only on good luck days, the tv tells you your luck level, it influences your chances of finding ladders

always bring some sort of food, upgrade your pickaxe if you are struggling

a good weapon is worth a lot, you should be able to get down to 40 with anything tho

regardless, killing lots of bugs and grubs is great since it gives you the Insect Head weapon which is fantastic and can carry you through the whole mines tbh
