And to pull it from there you need to use the hopper in your coop or barn

Secret Woods is the best non-spoiler way. You can get about 8-12 per day from there.
Other than that, when the stumps drop mahogany seeds, plant them and then harvest the fully grown tree (but iirc mahogany trees grow a little slower than the others so use tree fertilizer).
