It’s Stardew Valley, you don’t have to do anything, but finishing the Community Center unlocks many things. Also, increasing friendships with your neighbors also unlocks content, as does leveling up your skills. But the best thing about Stardew is there is no time table, there is nothing you have to do. Do what you like or love at the pace you want.

If you have items for bundles to turn in, sure. There's only a couple things you can grow in winter so it's a great time to readjust how your farm layout is if you're not happy with it. Otherwise fishing and mining are pretty good during Winter, can focus on upgrading tools too.

Level up fishing by successfully catching more fish to get a bigger mini game bar. You can choose to use a training rod if you struggle with fishing. Hopefully you've got it upgraded a bit. Assuming you're farming level 6 or soon to be you'll get access to quality sprinklers. If you can get to gold level in the mines 80+, you can use your iron, quartz and gold to make sprinklers which water a 3x3 area.

Smelting 5 ore with a furnace using 1 coal makes a bar of that ore. You can take 5 bars and pay some money to upgrade a tool, it'll take 2 days to upgrade. In the case of never upgrading your first is copper - 5 copper bars and 2k gold for an upgrade.

Diamonds are useful for gifting as they're loved by 8 villagers and liked by the rest. Also can be sold for money. I would suggest keeping them as you can also use them later. || After getting the bus fixed you can trade diamonds at the desert trader for triple shot espresso at 1:1.|| They can be duplicated later in crystalariums when you get to that point.
