If you're early enough in the game where energy is scarce, you can craft Field Snacks from the seeds of various trees you chop down. If you've went mining, you probably have some bug meat too, and you can craft Bug Steak with it, which gives the same energy. You can then just use your sword or scythe to clear most of the debris and your axe and pickaxe for the rest.

in the greenhouse ||the two main best crops are ancient fruit and starfruit. load up the greenhouse with sprinklers and deluxe speed-gro. for a while you want to throw ancient fruit harvests into a seed maker. you can also chop down any fruit trees you had that are no longer in season and replant them along the sides of the greenhouse||

yeah its good for gathering ore thats in the water. you'll see little shimmering lights in the water

sometimes attempting to left-click right next to the lights with the pan equipped wont hit so i like to go along the edge of the water until the animation goes offf
