Firstly, relax. The game doesn't have time limits. You don't have to know everything and rush everything. You can just take the first seasons to learn the game and get a hang of it as you go

Secondly, to get better at fishing I'd recommend getting the training rod. It makes the fishing bar bigger, helping you practice the minigame whilst leveling up

Third, to help with energy you should forage around the map. Leeks, wild horseradish, dandelions and spring onions can all be used to recover some energy (as well as fish you catch). On spring 15-18, the bushes around the valley will also have salmonberries, making it so that you can get a ton of them which helps a lot with energy

Meadowlands is nice but i like the four corners myself. Have a section for crops, animals, utility buildings and then a tree farm. All neatly split by terrain instead of fences

Geodes can be broken open at Clints to get minerals you'll need to donate to the museum or to keep/sell. I'd keep the forageables for either using for wild seeds or gifting the daffodils and eating the rest for energy (after community center donation).

As for community center, if you've had the cut scene where Lewis talks to you about the community center, go inside the community center and interact with the gold plaque in the bottom left room. After that day, you should receive a letter from the wizard to visit him at his house in the cindersap forest. After that you can begin donating in the community center.

You use stone and wood for a good amount of crafting in the game and buildings. Wood can be used to repair that bridge too for access. Sap can be used for crafting fertilizer and other crafting options. Fiber is also for crafting items. Coal is used for helping smelt ores down to bars, used for smoking fish and also crafting. It's good to keep them all 🙂
