if you can, i'd get the spring saplings in the ground as soon as possible. They take a full season to grow (28) days, and then produce everday for their in season. So you wont get the full harvest but you'll get some

I’ll eventually create a save for every marriage (or roommate) candidate, and try to match them with the farm map they’re best suited for, and probably customize my farm crops/animals etc on that save file to what that spouse enjoys
