Here’s my question: how are you supposed to be able to get the treasure chests that pop up occasionally? I’ve figured out that you need the green catch bar hovering over the chest icon until a bar fills up and the chest disappears.

But it seems like every time I try to get a chest, I just lose the fish. More often that not, the fish never goes anywhere near the chest icon. Any advice on how to get the treasure without the fish escaping?

Get the green bar nearly to the top with the fish. Then do the treasure chest and quickly go back to the fish and win it

Some can be a bit difficult, but its also very possible to catch any of them, especially if you have level 10 fishing + a trap bobber (you can also eat some food that gives a boost to your fishing level to get an even bigger green bar, even at level 10! If youre struggling)

For spring, potatoes are best. Also, cutting down the trees on your farm give you LOTS of foraging xp. Someone I played with cut down every tree in the valley.

Make sure to replant the trees though. And preferably away from your your main farm

Apparently animals don't damage crops but I use them to organise areas and gets pigs to head down to the grass. Pigs find a lot more truffles that way
