You should plant them all in y1. Money now is better than potential money a year from now.

What you could do for y2, is save some of the Strawberries (like 8-10 of them) and seed-make them so that once you ||unlock the greenhouse, you can grow them to seed-make more for spring), assuming you get the greenhouse unlocked anyways||

You don't really want to spend a bunch of your money in y1 that you won't get any return on for a long while.

Saving for the following year is more something you would do if you're to the point where you don't have as much to spend money on, or are making enough money regularly to buy what you need.

So here’s how I do the start of each season first 3-5 days i fish up what I need for CC and collect the foragablez, a lot of crops only need 6-12 days so that gives you 7 days of pure money making to get everything you need

You don’t have to do it this way

I find it simplifies the process though

Play it however you like, there is no right and wrong way to play. There are more profitable/efficient and less profitable ways to play but that doesn't matter to much until late game. There is nothing in this game you can miss.

My advice? If you are not happy with the customisation options, mod the game. I know that's not a good answer for console. But the last update took over a year for CA to complete and release across all platforms, he's currently working on a new game and the last update was not supposed to be content heavy, it was supposed to be an update mostly for modders. I'm not saying that he won't ever return to update stardew, but I think it's unlikely to be anytime soon. I personally don't think the hairstyle options for male characters is bad.

Goats will keep producing as long as it eats wild grass or Hay, where wild grass can be preserved by putting a Fence post, outside from Winter.
There is also an item unlocked at max farming level, hopefully to solve said issue.
Otherwise you can stick to Cow if you only busy on farm. 🤔

a white chicken for a large white egg and a brown chicken for a large brown egg

when you’re buying animals you can see the colour chicken at the top

chickens are the cheapest too

i’d also not recommend getting sheep or rabbits if you’re only focused on that bundle since they require a deluxe barn/coop

you will need rabbits for another bundle i think though

i don’t remember which but one of the bundles needs a rabbit’s foot
