most of the time sunflowers on average return the seeds to you

meaning that it's on average a free crop

you need to grow quite a bit of them for that though

and given that sunflowers aren't exactly cash crops theres not much reason to do that

turning the sunflowers into oil can be fun though

given that pierre sells sunflower seeds and oil at the same price, it's actually very cost effective to grow the sunflowers if you want to turn them into oil

how much oil do you really need though? :p

Basically, Worm Bins are a machine that automatically produce 4-5 bait per day

Just to elaborate on why targetted bait isn't effective for legendary fishes:

1. You can't catch (each) legendary fishes more than once
2. rare fish drastically reduces the effectiveness of targetted bait

For most regular fishes, targetted bait makes the rates of hooking that specific fish to 50%, while for the more rarer fish, it's like ~6-9% increase

The more you level up, the more the bar gets bigger btw

Also, bait isn't the only way to make fishing easier, but you'll find out about those eventually as you level up and unlock better rods

On the topic of night fish most fish got a time frame in which they can be caught, it could be possible that you are in a spot with fewer fish at night. Idk if that then means the night fish are more likely to be caught or if the other fish get replaced by trash
