Then, the day after the wizard sends you a letter asking you to visit him
Go there, and he'll teach you how to read the magical language

Cranberry is like 18g/day, pumpkin is like 16g/day, okay.

1. One pumpkin plant is 16 g/day, but you can grow 2 in a season, so that's already nearly twice as much g/day as cranberries
2. Pumpkin seeds cost 100 while cranberry seeds cost 240g, meaning you can buy 2.4x more pumpkin seeds with the same amount of money
3. With deluxe speed gro, pumpkins go up to 3 harvests at which point cranberries are just a joke compared to them

Legendary fish are the best, the legend mostly. You put the fish in and every few days it gives you roe

dehydrator: good for low sell price fruit or mushrooms, fast, recipe bought at pierres
preserves jars: good for mid sell price fruit or veggies, middle of the road, farming skill
kegs: takes longest, best used for high sell price fruits. farming skill

Expensive seeds with long growth time such as : starfruit, melon, pumpkins, ancient fruit rhubarb are all high value

you can buy the price catalog from the hot air balloon guy
generally i just use dehydrators for when i have lots and lots of crops, preserves jars early game for good fruit, and replace em with kegs late game

dehydrators are worse but fast

Dehydrators are mostly good early on for blueberries/cranberries stuff like that. Kegs are still outmatched for late game crops
