Its a slow process, but Crab pots can be used to master fishing. It takes a strategy to get those pots at first, since the ability to craft depends on the level of fishing

Get a training rod and some trout soup and try your best

the longer you fish the easier it gets

the bar keeps getting bigger and bigger, you become more experienced
