Luck+Speed buffs, Spicy eel and Coffee are good for this. High healing food (with NO buffs) like cheese, purple mushrooms, salad
Use bombs more than actual mining
Pause the game often. Instead of panicing around enemies while trying to eat, Pause, move your food/select your food in the pause menu and eat right away. Pause the game to look at floors around the pause menu||
