Hello! I was wondering if there was a way to stop villagers from losing hearts when you don't talk to them for a while? It took me too long to realize that was a thing and I am so tired of daily conversations with everyone

I personally recommend prioritize friendship when convenient e.g birthdays, if they're passing by.

With how each villager has schedules, hunting them down just to speak to 'em just causes more harm than good to your efficiency

Reach a certain threshold of hearts with 'em.
The condition is different depending on their relationship with the player or if they're able to be romanced.

Actually, I think the "threshold" might just be max hearts for their current state
