Once the mines opened, for me, I was absolutely flying it

legendary fish only let you put in one. if you want to farm certain fish like, midnight carp or flounder easier to make sea foam pudding those would be the only fish I would worry about doing that with if at all.
lave eel, legendary fish, sturgeon, super cucumber are good ones to put in. thier roe are worth a good bit.
the more fish in the pond makes them able to have a chance for different items different fish different items. but normally you just want to put fish worth more money as their roe will be worth more money

as there is a greater chance at lower populations for the fish pond to produce nothing
