I totally agree with this! Each to their own however, playing without a guide is a great way to experience the game☺️ Usually guides are more minmax. When I started, I only used the wiki to find certain people or fish, other than that I went in blind.

Personally for me, I wouldn’t recommend a guide for new players. Sure there’s the wiki but following a guide when you’re brand new, for me, takes the fun out of learning. Plus, it’s pressuring you to get x or y done by this time, again, stressful
