If you're in like the normal basic mines, your boots are going to mostly be your reliable source for defence. Afterwards, you can equip swords and rings with defence

We don't really have a full armor system, and the Defence stat is not highly impactful. So using food like Parsnip, Salad, high quality Chub is basically what mitigate over 90% of combat damage.

Fishing takes time, and as you keep fishing your bar gets larger and you can buy tackle/bait that helps. I try to up my fishing skill early on, like just spend a couple in game days just fishing

Yes fishing is hardest at start and gets easy the biggest advise is to use traning rod available at Willy asap like as soon as he opens shop on day 2 trash the old rod and buy the tsning rod use it till i get to lvl 5 and then go directly to fibergalss

Cheese is my preferred food to help with energy/health. You can also use tree seeds (acorn, mahogany, and oak) to create like protein bars and bug meat for bug steaks in a pinch/if you don't have cheese makers yet

Dust sprite are really easy and the most valuable enemies to kill ill go out of my way to kill them usually

If u meant slime i just avoid them and there is also kinda a semi boss slime on random he has a star on head he's toughter if u expect him to be a normal one u might die

I think it's a bit far to call it a semi boss. It has more hp than usual but that's because it has some sort of drop (usually a weapon)

A beach farm is good if someone wants to build a lot / plant a lot of trees. There is a sprinkler area which is relatively fine while you build the big stuff on the sand 😄

@dire lotus if you place the coop near the little pond on your famer (if you have one of those layouts) and later get ducks, they'll swim in the pond. May not be the most efficient spot for some but it makes my day watching them swim around lol
