1. that’s inadvisable. remember that the sand only stops you from using sprinklers. you can still water crops in it like normal, and there is a section where sprinklers are allowed. that said, if the no sprinklers is a deal breaker for you, there’s no shame in starting a new file on a different farm type

fruit trees are good but they are expensive and take a long time to start producing.

I would recommend focusing on raising animals since all that space is great for growing grass for grazing

fish ponds are quite good as well depending on what fish you put inside them

What's the hype with maces

I've been using swords for a while now but I don't know why I see a lot of content creators use maces

When you use the special attack with Hammers, you can spam you regular attack button, and all of the clicks will register as hits during the animation.

Effectively allowing you to rapid fire hit with it.

On top of that, some content creators use animation canceling, which makes the attack speed of weapons irrelevant.

If you unlocked it, you should use Monster Musk.
If you happen to find an infested floor while mining (not a slime one) you can farm that for the day.
Otherwise, I just reset floor 40 usually. I don't know which floor is specifically the best.
