a silo holds hay for animals, if you don’t have a silo you have no food for them,
you need 5 copper, 100 gold and 100 stone i believe,
after the silo is built whenever you cut down grass there’s a % chance for it to be turned into hay

you can also purchase extra hay off of marnie,

if your animals aren’t fed, no produce will be given to you, and you will make no money

dehydrator is less money but it works in batches of 5 of the same crop and quality. and its faster.

preserves jars, like kegs, work on one crop at a time, and take longer, but give more money

it's all about strategy--time, effort, etc.

what are you trying to process?

Dehydrators should only really be used on small value multi crop harvest crops
