when you get mushroom cave you do get a free Dehydrator machine
the Dehydrator processes 5 of the same quality crop quickly and cheaply
it's not more profitable than Preserves Jars or Kegs but it's good for crops you have a lot of and want to process

when it's raining, fish in the rivers and catch Catfish
they're hard to catch for newbies but they sell for a LOT
when it's sunny, fish in the mountain lake
what you'll wanna do is sell every fish you find there except for the chubs
keep the chubs, especially high quality chubs, because they can be a good source of energy if you're low on it
if you're low on space, get a chest and place it near where you fish so you don't lose inventory space as quickly and you can fish more

Hardwood Stumps? The ones in the bottom left of the Forest Farm, and the SINGLE one in the top left grassy patch of 4 Corners does. THe ones in the Secret Forest do as well.
Stumps from trees? No. They will however spread seeds. TGhe ONLY exception to this is Mushroom trees, which become stumps in winter, and WILL regrow in spring... but ONLY IF this was caused by winter. NOT if you cut it yourself.
