From a pure gold earning perspective early game, not really. You have to spend in game money to make in game money from a lot of the most lucrative non-fishing methods

@calm trail I think it's closer to the wizard tower. But your land should have wood on it that you can chop down. If you look at your map, you can see all the places and where you need or want to go. Hopefully that's helpful, I play on the switch. So it's a little bit different then the PC.

you can try to raise your friendships with the townspeople, try to ranch animals in coops or barns, start mining, fishing, and completing the community center

winter is a little slow, and it's chill, it kind of forces you to relax a little and slow down
