One thing that will always be a mystery to me is how everyone seems to love Undertale… It makes no sense to me. I tried to play it twice and couldn’t finish it cause I was so bored. I literally tried to gaslight myself into thinking I enjoyed it, knowing damn well I had never been more bored.

The puzzles are not fun nor complex. In the snow area for example, there was like a puzzle with snowballs, and I thought first ”oh yay, finally I’m about to do a puzzle”… Boy was I wrong, cause then it turned out to be a fake puzzle and one of the characters just told me the answer. Haha so funny lmao lol 😂

There’s dialogues every second which gets tiring. I’m not here to read a book, I’m here to play a game. I don’t mind dialogues in games, in fact I think it adds depth to the game, but when there’s just dialogues every second and no gameplay, it’s boring…

The combat is also not fun. Tried to gaslight myself into thinking it was fun, but no… It is not fun. Examples of games that have fun combat is Hollow Knight, Elden Ring and Sekiro. It’s engaging and just so fun. Undertale’s combat is just… boring.

From what I’ve seen people say they like Undertale much cause of the characters… Buddy, the writing feels like something a 14 year old would write. What is there to enjoy about the characters omg…
