No, they are a Fall crop, the seeds for which can be bought from Pierre in Fall. You can also use blueberries or strawberries, heck even coffee or anything else that regrows, whatever you have.
I suggest regrowing plants because you don't then have to worry about buying more seeds out of season.
If you have the ||bus repaired and the desert unlocked, you can even do starfruit.||

My advice is to delay making iridium sprinklers and upgrading your tools to iridium.
Take your iridium and make crystalariums. These can be used to dupe jades, ||which can be traded for staircases on Sundays at the Desert Trader. This will make it easier to get deeper into Skull Cavern and get more iridium. Keep doing this until you are getting enough jades for enough staircases to keep you well-supplied.||
Sprinklers and tool upgrades can wait.

One tip that will help you with your energy problems:
Salmonberry season starts tomorrow, and runs from the 15th to the 18th. Salmonberries grow on bushes with pink dots on them, and appear on every map except your farm and the beach, with the greatest number of them appearing in Cindersap.
Head out every day of the season to gather as many berries as you can, by simply interacting with the bushes. Salmonberries aren't worth anything to sell, but you can gather so many of them that they will keep you fed and energized for weeks, if not months, lasting until you can acquire better food sources.

and try to make Foraging 4 so you get more Berries per harvest. bc damn not having it makes it feels so low. I JUST did this (on Spring 21) and day 1 I only got 19 Berries

Profession-wise, I take Gatherer, because it leads to Botanist. The level 10 tree professions are worthless, and as far as lumberjack at level 5, if you want more wood, just plant more trees.
