You can, but every tile with a truffle on it will not spawn another truffle. So if you fill up their pen with truffles, that's all you'll get. Regularly clearing them allows for more truffles.

I've never understood why people put one thing in a chest. And have a whole shed with chests with one thing each in them with signs on them. It's all wasted space. Chests hold a lot. Big chests hold a TON. They should be used to their maximum
I have five chests surrounding a workbench that hold all my craftables. One for tree and plant drops, one for ores and gems, one for artifacts and geode gems and minerals, one for mob drops, and one for crafted stuff that can be made into other. Every chest is a big chest.
If you don't have a workbench, you really don't know what you're missing.
Then I have other chests in different locations depending on where I need the items they contain. One has all my gear and items I may need for quests, and is right outside my front door. Another has all the loved gifts for everyone, as well as any geodes or things I may need to take to Clint to open, and that one I keep next to the stable, so I can load up before riding into town.
Every artisan shed has a chest to hold the stuff I'm making into artisan goods.
Even being a hoarder, I have fewer than 20 chests and it's more than enough room.

I think you're confusing the trap bobber with the barbed hook. The trap bobber is one of the best tackles.
Barbed hook is the one with the description "only works on slow, weak fish".

If you have 100 stones, you can craft a single staircase and bypass that level, if it's infested or one of those annoying spirals that go on forever. If you can manage to kill 80 bugs, you can get a better sword from the AG. I concentrate on the slow flies and the grubs.

If you fish far out in the ocean or in the middle of the wide part of a river, you'll get higher quality fish. This can range from normal quality (near the shore) to gold quality (far from shore). Perfect catches increase the quality by one level, allowing gold star fish to become iridium star if caught perfectly
